Muriel Jeanette Henson Obituary (Age 84) Passed away on December 26, 2013 in Spokane, WA. She was born on March 1, 1929 in Spangle, WA to Wesley Ford and Violet Roellich. Muriel had a wonderful childhood growing up on a farm in Cheney. She and her sister, Gerene, were great friends and playmates. After graduating from Cheney High School, Muriel studied to become a Secretary at Kiman Business University. A few years later, Muriel attained a secretarial position for a prominent Spokane Valley company: American Sign and Indicator. Muriel enjoyed her work. She also liked spending time with her two children, Tim and Gloria and her Chihuahua �Bobby.� In her spare time, Muriel enjoyed quilting and crafting. She sewed teddy bears from scraps of fabric. In spring and summer, Muriel spent hours outdoors in her flower gardens. She is survived by her son Timothy Richard Henson and daughter Gloria Ann.
