Myrla Maxine Beard Obituary (Age 95) Passed away September 3, 2011 at Royal Park Nursing Home. She was born September 2, 1916 to John and Emily Johnson in Miles City, MT. Married her husband, Jack, September 2, 1939 in Miles City. Jack worked for the Northern Pacific and Burlington Railroad which moved them a lot. They settled in Spokane in 1952. Myrla worked for Westview Drug and Town and Country Drug as a bookkeeper. She loved to sew and knit, and made many beautiful sweaters for her granddaugthers. Myrla was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, four sisters and a baby brother. Myrla is survived by her daughter Sandra Croson and husband Gene; son John Beard of Wenatchee, WA; granddaughter Kara and three grandsons, Bob, Jack and David Franklin; five great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two stepgrandsons and four step-great-grandchildren. Donations may be made to Royal Park Care Center, 7511 N. Nevada, Spokane, WA 99208. At her request no services are planned.
