Long-time Whitman County farmer and rancher Myron Pflugrad passed away on Jan 21, 2026 after a brief illness.

He was born in Walla Walla WA on Nov 4th 1927 to Joseph Pflugrad and Esther (Cook) Pflugrad.  He had an older brother, Wilmer, who preceded him in death.

Myron spent over 30 years in the Endicott/Winona area where he farmed and raised cattle, working with his father and brother.  He met his wife Timmy in Spokane and they were married on Dec 16th, 1950.  They celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary this last December.  Myron and Timmy had 2 exceptional children, Debbie and Randy.

In addition to farming and ranching, Myron was also a good carpenter and put the finishing touches on their cabin at Hayden Lake and also did extensive remodeling projects for friends at Hayden Lake.  He moved to Hayden Lake from the farm in 1982, and they lived there until 2016 when they moved to the Touchmark community in Spokane.

He is survived by his wife and 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  There will be a private graveside service for family later this month.
