Newman "Honey" Wilson Obituary (Age 95) Wilson passed away on March 30, 2015 in Spokane Valley, WA. He was born on December 20, 1919 in Leonard, ND to Gould and Della Wilson. He graduated from Leonard High School in Leonard, ND and later married Florence Scheneman on December 4, 1948 in Aberdeen, SD. They then moved to Flint, MI where Wilson worked as a carpenter and then became a mill wright and worked as one until he retired at age 62. In 1995, Wilson moved to Spokane, WA and then to Spokane Valley in 2003. He loved gardening, working in his yard, cooking, baking, canning and making candy at Christmas as well as playing cards and making yard art. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Fargo, ND and the Millwrights Local 1003 in Detroit, MI. Wilson is survived by his daughter Teri Carlson; son-in-law Stuart Carlson; grandsons Reece Carlson and fianc? Jackie Reynolds, Shaun Pitts and wife Lydia; great-granddaughter Jersey Joy and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 10 am at Sunset Chapel inside Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley, Spokane, WA with a Graveside Service to follow.
