Norma Jean (Martinson) Milliken Obituary Norma Jean was born July 10, 1935 to Peter and Alberta Martinson in Spokane and passed June 12. A Spokane Pioneer family descendant she attended Spokane schools and graduated from Lewis & Clark in 1953. Jean married David Tuck and as an air force wife she traveled throughout the US and lived in the Philippines for a time. Jean and David had 3 children and later divorced. Norma Jean began working as a waitress and she met Don Milliken. They were married and Don brought his sons Don and Ron to the family. Norma Jean and Don had 2 children and enjoyed each other company until Don?s passing. Norma worked many years as a waitress, most recently at the Studio K. If you ever dined there she knew your name, what you wanted to eat and where you wanted to sit. Norma Jean was all about family and is survived by her children, Don (Linda) Milliken of Hoffman Estates, IL, Ron (Nancy) Milliken of Tracy, CA, Dorie (Clay) Hobbs, David (Kay) Tuck, Debbi Rice all of Spokane, Nancy Milliken (Kevin Moll) of Kennewick and Ward Milliken of Seattle. Norma Jean is also survived by her eleven grandchildren and eight great-grand children. A time of visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, June 16th from 11:00am to 5:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 17th at 2:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
