Norma L. Kerr Obituary (Age 78) Passed away February 14, 2012. She was born September 5, 1934 in Rathdrum, ID to Ed and Wava Shopbell. She moved to Spokane and attended Libby Jr. High and Lewis and Clark H.S. She married John Kerr in 1956 in Spokane where they lived and worked while raising their family. Norma had numerous jobs over the years and retired from the Safeway Credit Union in 2008 after many years of service. She was a member of the VFW Post in Airway Heights for over 25 years and she actively volunteered her time. She is survived by her son Ron (Kari) Kerr; brothers Jack (Marge) Shopbell and Larry (Anita) Shopbell; grandchildren Bill (Melissa) Kinzel, Nick and Amanda Kinzel. She was preceded in death by her husband John Kerr in 1981 and a daughter Debbie Wilson in 2007. Funeral Service 11:30AM Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Heritage Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VFW Post #3386, P.O. Box 149, Airway Heights 99001.
