Norva Marie Edmonds Obituary (Age 87) Norva, of Spokane Valley passed away April 23, 2016 at her home. She was born April 4, 1929 in Kensington, KS to CH and Alda (Kinyon) Edmonds. She graduated from Marycliff High School and attended Holy Names College graduating with a degree in education. Norva taught school for 30 years in various school districts including Kelso, WA, Juno, AK, and Spokane County. Norva was an associate of the Sisters of the Holy Names. She spent many hours volunteering and was passionate about donating food to the convent. Norva was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Imhol Reid and Norma Lemieux Foubert, and her brother Dick Edmonds. She is survived by her nieces Nadine (Mickey) Humphrey, and Marlene (Ron) Arkills, nephews Edward Reid and David (Jeanette) Reid, 6 great-nieces, 3 great-nephews, 2 great-great-nieces, 3 great-great-nephews, 2 great-great-great-nieces and 1 great-great-great nephew.
