(Olive) Colleen Wright Obituary O. Colleen Wright (Age 84) was born March 22, 1931 to Enola (Pribble) and Claude Wilkerson. She passed away June 12, 2015 in Spokane Valley. Colleen was born in Dodge City, Kansas, the ?Dust Bowl?, which she confirmed was very much a true statement. She moved to Tacoma, WA as a young girl and graduated from Lincoln High School. It was in Tacoma that she met a young Marine, Douglas Campbell Wright. They got married and started a family. Together they moved to Bonners Ferry, ID, and then settled to live the rest of their lives in Spokane. Colleen held various jobs in Spokane but retired after working 26+ years at Spokane Steel Foundry/Metal Products. She was active in Project Joy, DAR, and enjoyed playing her violin and viola in the Gonzaga Orchestra, she also participated in several church choirs and orchestras. Colleen also loved to spend time with her grand and great-grandkids. She loved ice cream, coffee and shopping! Colleen is preceded in death by her husband Douglas, parents, siblings Russell Wilkerson, Norma Hedman and son in law Gary Schumacher. She is survived by her children Marty Schumacher and Paul (Lisa) Wright, sister Della Topping, grandchildren Nathan (Kelly), Nicholas, Erica, Shauna (Brian) and Michael, 8 great-grandchildren Noelle Wright, Arianna and Noah Wright, Sammy, Conrad and Caeleb Wood and Ashton and Alexa Keys. She is also survived by a nephew and several nieces, along with her very close friends Helen and Oletha. A Graveside Inurnment will be held on Friday, June 19th at 11:00 am at Greenwood Memorial Terrace 211 N. Government Way.
