Omie Isabel Geile Obituary (Age 92) Omie I. Geile passed away on May 17, 2017 in Spokane, WA. She was born April 15, 1925 in Gold Hill, ID to her parents, Annie and Harvey Weaver. Omie enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the cabin at Davis Lake where she enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband. She worked in the shipyards with her sister, Pearl, during the war and then was a cook at The Flame Restaurant for 30 years. Omie was well-known for her famous cinnamon rolls at the restaurant. Omie is survived by her children, Danny (Donna) Kemano, Diana (Doug) Culver, Johnny (Sue) Geile; daughters in law, Donna Geile and Joyce Tillotson; grandchildren, Doreen Snyder, Dennis (Doris) Snyder, Donee (Jamie) Kemano, David Kemano, Devin (Jessica) Kemano, Dennis (Dawn) Kemano, Brandy Rodriguez, Sarah (Max) Yeager, Moriah Geile, Glenn (Jill) Geile and Terry Busby; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to her sister, Dayma Chapman and nieces Lenette Wallace and Betty Frost. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Geile; son, Donald Kemano; stepson, Fred Geile, Jr.; step grandson, Gary Geile; as well as her parents, brothers and sisters. Viewing for Omie will be held on Wednesday, May 31st from 10am 5pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 1pm with a graveside service at Riverside Memorial Park immediately following.
