Oscar Leon Schell Obituary Oscar Leon Schell (Age 79) went into the arms of our Lord on February 4, 2015 with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 24, 1935 to Fred and Caroline Schell in Baker, MT where he lived until he joined the army. He then moved to Spokane in 1966 to attend Kinmen Business University. He earned his degree in accounting and started working for Kreager construction as an office manager. He also met the love of his life at this time Irene (Sparky) and they got married October 18, 1968. He then went to work for Strenstrom Contruction for a short period of time and moved on to Casper & Magara Construction which he retired from after 27 years. He loved to work. When he wasn't working in the office he was working on his yard at home or at his summer home (the river place). He loved boating, traveling and helping his kids and grandchildren. He was always there for them no matter what they needed and never said no to helping them. After he retired he became a volunteer van driver at Corbin Senior Center. He drove on many trips and took his walking group weekly. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years Irene, sister Arlene and husband Larry, son Glenn and wife Jan, daughter Debbie, daughter-in-law Yolanda, 7 grandkids and 9 great-grandkids. Preceded in death by parents Fred and Caroline Schell and son Timothy. He was kind and gentle, hardworking and generous and was always there for family and friends. He will be greatly missed every day but his legacy will go on for generations to come. A special thanks to the kindness and care at Holy Family Hospital, Manor Care, Gentiva, Royal Park and the Hospice House. Also thanks to Dr. Jeffrey O'Connor for 30+ years of exceptional medical care with a personal touch. Visitation will be on Friday, February 13th from 10 am to 5 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 14th at 11 am at Heritage Funeral Home.
