P. Marilyn Oliver Obituary (Age 79) Marilyn Oliver, 79, passed away August 29, 2017 in Spokane, WA. Marilyn was born May 22, 1938 in Everett, WA to her parents Homer and Lenore Moore. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1956 and married L. Roger (Buzz) Oliver December 1st of that same year. They had four children. Marilyn retired from Shriners Hospital where she worked as an administrative secretary. She then volunteered at Holy Family Hospital until 2014. The activities she enjoyed the most were snow skiing, walking and her favorite - dancing at the Eagles. In addition, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Marilyn is survived by her children, Scott, Tana and Jan; one sister and two brothers; her four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who all knew her as Mame. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie and one brother. A gathering to celebrate Marilyns life will be held Saturday, September 16th from 3:00pm to 6:00 pm at the Eagles located at 6410 N. Lidgerwood Street in Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Horizon Hospice of Spokane. � To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of P. Marilyn, please visit our Tree Store.
