Patricia Ann "Olga" (Belton) Ewy Obituary Patricia Ann Belton was born in Spokane, WA on August 14, 1940 to Genevieve and Ben Belton. Pat passed from this earth to a better life on July 18, 2017 at Magnolia Care Assisted Living in Spokane, WA. Pat was born and raised and spent her entire life in Spokane and Spokane Valley. She graduated from John Rogers High School in 1958. She was active in Rainbows during her high school years. She had many friends and fond memories of growing up with life time friends in Copeland Park. After graduation, she went to work at Crescent Department store starting as a stocking clerk and when the store was sold she was an assistant to the store president, Mr. Fuhs who she greatly admired. She remained in contact with her fellow workers through the former employees of the Crescent group. She then went to work for the Boy Scouts and retired from Sacred Heart Medical Center. Pat enjoyed people and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, an international womens organization, for over 20 years. She was a member of Xi Delta Zeta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and served as President and was honored as Woman of the Year. She was a current member of Preceptor Beta Epsilon. Pat was a loyal and honest friend. Pat married John Ewy which later ended in divorce, but Pat was there for John at the end caring for his needs when he passed away. Pat was preceded in death by grandfather William Blatz, grandmother Anna Rannard, mother Genevieve Belton, brothers William Bill Belton and Richard Dick Belton and sister Paula Jean Lou Belton, sister-in-law Judy Belton, nephew Bill Belton, father Ben Belton, and ex-husband John Ewy. Pat is survived by nieces Julie Frakes in Texas, Kathy Duncan and Beth Jones in Spokane, Jack Duncan, grandnieces and nephew, and sister-in-law Carol Belton. Pats life was always one of giving and caring about people. She will be missed but goes on to an eternal life reunited with those she loved and loved her. Thanks to the staff at Magnolia Court Assisted Living for their kind and loving care of Pat. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11 am at Heritage Funeral Home.
