Pattylou (Volavka) Gibson Obituary Passed away peacefully in her sleep on May, 15, 2010. Born April 9, 1943 to Richard and Nettie Volavka. Pattylou was raised by her beloved parents. She is preceded in death by the love of her parents and two brothers, her son Scotty Gibson. Patty is survived by daughters, Wanda Cornelius, Debra Gibson and Nettie Febus all of Spokane WA. Four sons Michele Cornelius, El Paso, TX, Bill Cornelius, Dan Gibson and James Febus, of Spokane, WA. She also leaves behind one sister, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patty loved to crochet, read mystery books and help out her family as much as she could. Nothing stood in her way of doing better for herself and her children. She will be greatly missed and has battled kidney failure for many years. Her always believing in God she lived with passion, honesty, kindness and laughter. Memorial Service will be held by her children; her ashes will be spread where she loved to-be, the outdoors, among the huckleberries, black-berries and blueberries, in the open mountain air.
