Paul Douglas Berman Obituary (Age 72) Paul, of Spokane, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017. He was born October 23, 1945 to Edward and Gertrude Everson. Paul and his brothers were later adopted by Warren Berman. Paul attended Rogers High School and later St. Martins College where he earned a Bachelors degree and became a Chemical Dependency Counselor. Paul served in the Navy aboard the USS Hancock and then served in the Army for an additional 8 years. Paul served in the Vietnam War and was proud of his service to both the Navy and the Army. He married his best friend, Lela Berman, on April 13, 1968 in Spokane, WA and they were later sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Seattle, WA LDS Temple. Paul and Lela had 3 children; Timothy, Tammie, and Teresa. Paul was a loving brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lela; his parents (Gertrude and Warren Berman) and his brother Neil Berman. He is survived by his three children Timothy Berman of Seattle, WA; Tammie Berman of Tacoma, WA; and daughter Teresa with husband James Snook of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by a brother Eric Berman of Spokane, WA and his four sisters, Claudia Berman of Clearwater, FL; Janet McGuire of Spokane, WA; Alyson Berman of Leavenworth, WA; Dianna Eaton of Spokane, WA. Paul had the pleasure of enjoying 10 wonderful grandchildren who were the pride of his life. Services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the LDS Chapel, 4444 E 43rd Ave, Spokane, WA 99223 at 10:30am. Graveside Services will be at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery at 12:30pm.
