Paul Theodore Asvestas Obituary (Age 58) Passed away October 27, 2014 at Hospice House of Spokane. He was born December 17, 1955 in Spokane to the late Theodore and Mary (McRae) Asvestas of Wallace, ID. He attended schools in Wallace. He fought a brave battle with cancer and never let the disease stop him from his strong work ethic. Paul moved to Boise in 1976 where he worked for A&A Enterprises where after a short time became a superintendent. In 1985 he relocated to Spokane where he started Asvestas Construction, building custom homes for 30 years along with other endeavors. His hobbies were boating on Coeur d'Alene Lake, skiing and customizing cars. Paul is survived by his three sons John and Michael of Spokane and Ryan in Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two brothers Nick of Spokane and Glen of Kona, HI; two sisters Patty and Helen of Silverton, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, a niece Beth and nephew Todd Wheeler. Viewing will be Saturday, November 1st 10AM-5PM and Monday, 8AM-5PM and a Celebration of Paul's Life 11AM Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Heritage Chapel. A Celebration of Paul's Life Reception to follow at Mukogawa Fort Wright College, Commons Building, 4320 W. Owens Ridge Road, Spokane. The family would like to thank Hospice of Spokane for the wonderful care Paul received and his many friends who were always there for him. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
