Paul Virgil "Virg" Hoeft, Jr. Obituary (Age 90) Virg passed at the age of 90 into the arms of his Savior completely at peace, surrounded by his family on March 20, 2018. He was born in Spokane on November 15, 1927. During the Korean War, Virg served in the Army as a Buck Sargent in Japan. Upon returning, he married Mary Lamon and settled in Spokane, where they raised their children and were married for 64 years. He retired from the linoleum shop after working as a floor covering installer for most of his career. Virg was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved his Savior and took great joy in spending quality time with those he loved. Virg is survived by his wife, Mary Hoeft; children, Richard Hoeft, Laura Vaughan and Valerie Quinn; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on April 21st at 2:00pm at Tri-County Christian Church in Deer Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to K-9?s for Warriors at www.k9sforwarriors.org.
