In loving memory of Pauline Katherine O'Brien, born on February 16, 1950, at Newport Community Hospital, to George N. Hettinger and Rosie May Martin. Pauline's legacy is carried on by her devoted brother Albert Hettinger, cherished sister Joyce DeFrehn, and her adoring children: Mike, Jimmy, Eddy, David, Kathy, Roberta, Carl, Jennifer, and her stepson Tim. She leaves behind a proud lineage of 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. On February 2, 1972, she married the father of her children, David Bodey. Later, she found love again with David O'Brien and shared the remaining years of his life together. Pauline's zest for life extended beyond her family, as she transformed her love for thrift shopping into a remarkable 12-year career at Goodwill Industries, retiring in 2021. Her quick wit, sass, and infectious laughter endeared her to all who knew her. Pauline's true joy was found in the warm embrace of her beloved family.
