Born June 22, 1933 in Cleburne, Illinois to Roxie and William Sewell Morgan-Died June 20, 2024.


Married to James Frederick Burton on November 20, 1953 who passed away on June 17, 2021.

She had 15 siblings. Mother to 4 children, James R. Burton (Debbie), Ronald L. Burton (Janet), Margaret A. Holt (Terry) and Dale A. Burton (Nancy).


She was a grandmother to 7 children, great-grandmother to 3 children and great, great, grandmother to 2 children.


An ole farm girl married into the military life. Traveled to Tripoli, North Africa, Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland.


She enjoyed attending church, bible studies, babysitting, listening to music, crocheting, quilting and keeping her children out of trouble. She had worked at Allinda Yarns in the past.
