Peggy Lucille Wahl Obituary
On Tuesday, October 28th 2009 Peggy Lucille Wahl passed into peaceful rest with her Lord while sleeping at her home in Spokane County. She is survived by her high school sweet heart Raymond Giddings of North Dakota. They have been reunited for 25 years.
She is also survived by four daughters: Quinsana Wahl and Dave Golemboweiski, Julie Graves and Duane Link, Tina Nash and her husband Tony. She was always happiest when her children and grandchildren were together and celebrating life and the holidays!
She has six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She loved to send cards and $2.00 bills to them. Peggy is preceded in death by Glen Wahl and her son Quinton Larry Wahl (age 54). Peggy was often seen enjoying time at the Gospel Jubilee in Spokane Valley on Thursday nights with her life long friend Grete. Peggy had many many friends in her life, and she brought joy to all of them. And she talked of them and the blessings they were to her often. Peggy was married to Glen Wahl for 32 years and they had four children together. She was a very loving mom and wife, always laughing and wanting to go fishing or to the beach. She loved the Oregon Coast and always thought it was a new experience every time she went. Peggy lived for a good time. Friends and neighbors will remember the dances and music at her annual birthday parties. She took great care to love those around her and honesty was her model. Peggy loved her daughter Julie and husband Duane and was very expressive of her gratefulness, they were especially loved deeply for all of the care and time that they gave her. Also her daughter Quinsana spent much time caring and loving her. We will miss her greatly but know God has blessed her by taking her to a great place and she is waiting for us all. Visitation will be Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 8:00 to 9:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens, 5909 S. Cheney-Spokane Rd., at 3:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, Inland NW Chapter, 910 W. 5th Ave., Ste 256, Spokane, WA 99204.
