September 20th, 1941 - August 26th, 2026

Peter Edward Knudson was born on September 20, 1941, in Billings, Montana. The family lived in Miles City, Montana in the 1940’s. Lots of fun filled memories; playing and running barefoot even on hot sidewalks, going to cowboy movies, and to his favorite parks. Many sunny vacations were spent at Yellowstone Park (Hebgen Lake) in the family camper and fishing and family fun catching rainbow trout that mom would cook up.

Pete attended grade school in Miles City until the family moved to Billings, MT. There, he continued his education.

Pete learned all about mobile home transporting and set up at an early age from his father, who worked at Iseman Homes Trailor Sales in Billings. Pete’s dad, Ed, taught Pete to drive at age 12. He often drove the family in the family’s 1940 Packard from Mile’s City to Hettinger, ND.

Pete was always an eager helper. The family always enjoyed the many special visits and gatherings of cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles in Hettinger, ND and Aberdeen, SD.

Pete moved to Reno, NV in the 60’s. He married Donna Allen in 1963.

He was a “go-getter”, always working and providing for his family. He Managed apartments and motels and a trucking business. He was a business agent for the Teamsters Union. He owned two bars: 'Hee Haw Nevada' and 'Pete’s Place in Reno.'

After Pete moved back to Spokane in the 70’s, he spent years promoting and selling clean-air purifiers and wellness supplements.

He was kind and considerate and helped neighbors, family and friends, such as Beckering Auto in Spokane, as if they were family.

Pete is survived by his Sister; Evelyn, Daughters; Elizabeth (Kneeshaw) and Karlyn Knudson, Stepson; Stephen Troy Burrows, Nephew; Kirk (Debbie) Burris, Nieces; Danielle and Dallas, Grandnephew; Jackson, all in Montana and special cousins located in North and South Dakota, Arizona and Minnesota.

Pete is preceded in death by his Wife Donna, his Parents; Ed and Geraldine Knudson and his Grandson; Christopher Brundige.

Peter passed away peacefully in the comfort of his favorite car, while his sister, Evelyn, drove him to the Emergency Facility.
