Philip W. Gober Obituary Passed away peacefully in his home December 21, 2010. Phil was born in Spokane, February 7, 1947. He graduated from West Valley High School in 1965; he attended North Idaho College and eventually received his Bachelors degree and studied for a Masters degree in Psychology at Eastern Washington University. Phil served in the United States Air Force after college. He was a resident of the Spokane Valley his entire life where he has owned and operated his family's business, Gober & Son & Son, since 1975. Phil had a variety of interests and was notorious for finding a good deal. He also enjoyed classical music, good wine, and a great conversation. He is preceded in death by his parents Greta and William Gober. He is survived by his son Brett V. Gober of Ashland, OR and his goddaughter Katie O'Malley and her family in Spokane.
