Was called to her eternal rest on December 8, 2009. Phyllis was born on January 23, 1920 in Clover, ID to Henry and Katrina Lutz. She married Harry Hansen in 1940. They resided in Buhl and Twin Falls, ID and Riverton, WY before moving to Spokane, WA in 1996, where she resided until her death. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harry Hansen, in 1997, and son Ron in 2000. She is survived by three children, Gerald M. Hansen of Colbert, WA, Karen Wilson of Spokane, WA, Thelma Woodard of Arvada, CO; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters. Phyllis was a member at Gloria Dei and Holy Cross Lutheran Churches in Spokane, WA. She was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2009. Phyllis will be laid to rest in a private burial prior to the memorial service. Memorials may be made in Phyllis' name either to Hospice of Spokane or Holy Cross Lutheran Church Women's Missionary League, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7307 N. Nevada St., Spokane, WA 99208.
