Rachel Michelle Meyers Obituary (Age 18) Rachel passed away at her home in Spokane on March 30, 2015. She was the middle daughter of Scott and Tracy Meyers, born April 12, 1996 in Spokane. She attended Mt. Spokane High School. She loved hanging out with friends and family. She also loved animals, often bringing in strays, and volunteering at the Humane Society. She was a natural born athlete, she loved to snowboard and spend time on the water. Rachel was known to always look out for the underdog and was a natural caregiver. She had the spirit of a tiger, being strong, independent and fierce, while having the heart of a lion, loving big, never giving up and showing exceptional courage and bravery. Hakuna Matata, Rachel Michelle. Rachel is preceded in death by her Uncle David Meyers. She is survived by her parents Scott Meyers and Tracy Porter, two sisters Selene (22) and Amanda (17), Grandparents Susan and Larry Meyers, Kathleen Burchett and Stan Porter, Uncles Jeff Porter, Shane Porter, Scott Porter and Aunts Anna Burchett-Jones and Debbie Porter, as well as numerous cousins, and her beloved dog Sophie. Viewing will be held Friday, April 3rd from 10:00 � 5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 4th at 11:00 am at Heritage Chapel.
