Rex Eugene Turnbull Obituary (Age 92) Rex E. Turnbull went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 23, 2017. Rex was born on May 11, 1925 in Boone County, Arkansas to John and Anna Turnbull. Rex served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He received his Bachelors Degree from Walla Walla College and had a career as a Medical Tech. It was while working at White Memorial Hospital in California that he met his wife of 64 years, Florence. Rex was a dedicated volunteer serving at the Better Living Center and over 6,000 hours for St. Lukes. He was a committed member of Linwood Seventh Day Adventist Church. Rex loved travel, walks and most of all, making people laugh. He is survived by his sister, Laura; his three children, Sheryl (David), Kenneth (Robin), Russ (Kathy); 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Viewing will take place Friday, November 3rd at 10am at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 3rd at 11 am, at Heritage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you make donations to the Better Living Center-Food Bank (P.0. Box 48124, Spokane, WA 99228).
