Richard Alton "Andy" Anderson Obituary (Age 64) Richard was born January 7, 1952 to Arvid S. Anderson and Beverly D. Brateng in Thief River Falls, MN. He passed away in Spokane on September 3, 2016. He lived in Grygla, MN for 14 years and then moved to Spokane in 1967. He graduated from Central Valley in 1970. He had one son, Timothy Kjel Anderson. He went into the Navy for four years, then to trade school and became a union plumber for 37 years. He also worked as a carpenter for many years in between jobs. Andy?s ?bragging? rights in his plumber years was that he never had a leak on his welds. He enjoyed hunting, guns, western movies and his family and friends. Later in life he enjoyed riding his Harley and going to Sturgis with his friends. Andy retired in 2014 and bought a Harley and had the happiest days of his life. Andy was the third child of seven children. He is survived by his son Timothy and grandchildren Colin Anderson, Kasandra Anderson, Zane Lagarbo and Rayna Anderson; sisters LInda (Ron) Schultz, Helen (Lanny) Anderson, and Nancy Seifert, as well as several nieces and nephews. Andy was soon to be a great-grandpa. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and sisters Elizabeth (John) Zeller, Susan Marie Anderson and brother Jay P. Faircloth. As a kid growing up in Minnesota Andy always wanted to be Tarzan?King of the Jungle, but his older sister was always Tarzan and Andy became ?Bomba The Jungle Boy?. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Motorcycle Riders Memorial for a brick placed in Andy?s name forever. A Celebration of Andy?s life will be held at Cruisers Bar & Grill, 6105 W. Seltice Way, State Line, ID on Saturday, September 10th at 2:00pm. A Committal Service will be held at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, WA on Friday, September 16th at 1:30pm.
