Richard Dale Kreager Obituary (Age 70) Richard passed away on September 2, 2011 at the VA Hospital in Reno, Nevada after a long illness. He was surrounded by his fellow veterans who served their country honorably. Richard was born in Seattle, WA, and raised in Spokane, WA. He served in the US Navy from 1965 to 1969 aboard the USS Okanogan in the Viet Nam War. Richard was preceded in death by his loving mother and father Rosalie May Fessenden and Jack Warren Kreager. He is survived by his brother Robert A Kreager of Enumclaw, WA and his three nephews, Joel D Kreager of Enumclaw, WA, Don L Kreager of Schweinfurt, Germany and Derek A. Kreager of Penn State College, Pennsylvania. Richard was a dedicated baseball athlete and coach throughout his life, and he influenced the lives of many young men and women in the Tahoe, CA and Anaheim, CA areas. He is a graduate of Anaheim High School, CA and a graduate of Eastern Washington University. Funeral Service 9:30AM Saturday September 17th at Heritage Chapel attended by extended family and friends, and fellow baseball colleagues.
