Richard Dennis Mellinger Obituary (Age 72) Richard passed away Wednesday, October 15 2014. He was born March 24, 1942 in Spokane to Kenneth and Louise Mellinger. He graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1961. In 1964 he joined the U.S. Army and served until 1967. Richard also worked for Alloy Trailers for 30 years. He truly enjoyed golf, music and collecting lighthouses. Richard is survived by his wife of 49 years Kathy Mellinger; daughters: Christine Marsille and Cheri Griffin; grandchildren: Kietrich, Elias and Trevaris Griffin; his two brothers: Jerry Mellinger and Jim Starr; and his sister, Carol Mellinger. His sense of humor and big smile will be missed by everyone who knew him.
