Richard Louis Allen Obituary Richard Louis Allen, age 84, passed away on June 29, 2017. The second youngest of five children, he was born in Spokane on December 5, 1932 to Emily and Raymond Allen. Richard attended Lindberg High School and Central Valley High School. He served in the Army during the occupation of Germany. Richard was a lifelong farmer in Valleyford, WA. He and the love of his life, Dorothee, were married on November 12, 1960 and enjoyed over 50 years together. He enjoyed square dancing, tinkering with equipment and cars, and wintering in Arizona. He was a member of Lilac City Sams R.V. Club, and Star Shooter Dance Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothee. Richard is survived by his brother, Raymond Allen; son, Jerry (Terrie); daughter, Penny (John); son, James (Karen); four grandchildren, Jason (Rachel), Justin, Hailey and Harrison; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 1pm. The family asks that you make a contribution in Richards name to your favorite charity.
