Richard Neil Mabbott

Richard, beloved husband of Veona for 70 years, passed away on October 25, 2025.


Richard was born in independence Missouri on April 08, 1933 to John and Helen Mabbott.


Richard served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955.  He married Veona in September of 1955.

He then attended Findley Engineering College obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He and Veona moved to Spokane Washington in 1960. 


He was an avid golfer and spent many years on the Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol.  He loved gardening and was active in the Methodist Church. 


He is survived by his wife, Veona, children David (Christi) and Scott (Rhonda).  He has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


Services are planned for 2pm on Friday November 14, 2025 at Heritage Funeral Home.
