Robert Charles Cross (76) of Spokane, WA, went to be with the Lord on June 9th, after a long battle with heart disease.
Bob was born August 22, 1949 to Donna (Bras) and Gordan Cross in Missoula, MT. Growing up in Camas Prairie, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and caring for his many animals. Bob attended Hot Springs High School, where he discovered his love for basketball, and graduated in 1967. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Navy where he served for 4 years. Working as a troubleshooter on the flight deck of the Midway, he received the Navy Achievement Medal and was nominated for Sailor of the Year.
In 1977, Bob moved to Spokane to work for KC Auto Paint & Supplies, where he met his future wife, Beverly Gilbert. Bob and Bev “Cisco” were married on May 18, 1985 and gave birth to their first and only child, Jessica Lynn on July 24th, 1990.
Bob dedicated his entire career to growing KC Auto Paint into a multi-state operation before leading its successful merger with Wesco Auto Body Paint Supply in 2018.
Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family. He treasured every gathering, celebration, and time spent on the River together. His love for his daughter and granddaughters was evident in everything he did, and he took immense pride in watching his family grow.
He leaves behind Bev, his wife of 41 years, his daughter Jessica (Brent) and two granddaughters, Elle and Gia, as well as numerous beloved family members in Montana. His family loved him dearly and will forever cherish the time they had together.
The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Bob to join us in celebrating his life and legacy on June 30 at 1 PM at Summit Church, 1801 E 29th Ave.

Rest I peace Bob, you will be truly missed.
