Robert E. Burquist, Sr. Obituary (Age 89) Robert was born on December 6, 1920 in Ashland, WI to William and Catherine Burquist. On January 7, 1944 he married Juanita Marie Rydstrom at Salem Lutheran Church in Spokane. Robert was Battalion Commander in the Air Force and retired a Lt., Col. in 1962 from Malmstrom AFB. Robert is survived by three daughters; Barbara Stone, Cathy Holley, and Janice Aiken and one son, Robert Burquist, Jr. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Robert, please visit our Tree Store.
