Robert G. "Bob" Lamon Obituary (Age 89) Passed away October 4, 2013. Bob was born November 20, 1923 to Ed and Elizabeth Lamon. He attended Arlington Elementary and Rogers High School. He served in the US Coast Guard on the USS Leonard Wood in WWII. Bob was involved in the asphalt business for many years. He is survived by his children Vicki L. Lamon, Karen S. Mathews (Bruce) and Wendy K. Pruitt (Guy); grandchildren Michael and Kelsey Pruitt all of Spokane and Lane Mathews of Arizona; cousins David Welker and Nancy Welker; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 66 years Glorya Jane Lamon and brother John Lamon. A private family service will be held. As a Farewell to Bob, taps will be sounded at 5:30PM Friday October 11th at his gravesite at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., (on the west side of cemetery near Sunset Mausoleum), all are invited to attend.
