Robert Lee Scott Obituary Bob was born in Roaring Springs, Texas, May 16th, 1928 to Martha A. Green and Frank Leslie Scott. His siblings, all of whom have predeceased him were; Mildred, Patrick, Frankie, Fannie and Goldie. Bob was raised on the farm near Morton, TX, moving to town shortly after his dad died in 1937. He joins his beloved wife of fifty-nine1/2 years, Juanita, who passed away in December of 2006, and his daughter-in-law, Monica, who passed away in December of 2008. He leaves behind son Steven and granddaughter Stephanie of Issaquah, WA, son Randall of Ford, WA, grandchildren Raechelle, Erica and Andrew and their mother Ellen of Spokane, and daughter Jana and son-in-law Kenneth Johansson of Noxon, MT., two sisters-in-law and brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Bob went to the arms of Jesus Saturday morning, April 25, 2009 at Clare Bridge, in Spokane, WA. Many thanks go out to the wonderful folks there who made ?Papa? feel so loved. Dad and Mom were printers by trade, having owned or worked for newspapers and print shops, including the Spokesman Review, all over the west for 36 years. He was a member of the Typographical Union. Printers by trade, rockhounds by heart. Thanks to all the wonderful rock hound friends who helped provide them with endless hours of pleasure. Bob and Juanita were members of the Spokane Rock Rollers Club. A celebration of life will be held on Bob and Juanita?s anniversary Wed. July 1st at 11:00 a.m. starting with a graveside service at Fairmount Memorial Park, W. 5200 Wellesley, Spokane, WA with refreshments following. Scholarship donations may be made to EWU Geology Department, 127 Hargreaves Hall, Cheney, WA 99004-2413.
