Robert William Macri Obituary (Age 85) Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather went home to be with his Lord Jesus on April 16, 2011 from age-related complications after years of loving care by his wife, Rachel Lopez Macri. Bob was a talented musician, photographer, and artist who chose traditional employment in order to support a total of five children. Bob was born in Kellogg, Idaho on September 2, 1925 To Frank and Ermina Macri, immigrants from Italy. He was the youngest of seven children and is survived by his older brother, John, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He attended Kellogg High School where he was an athlete and a trumpet player, and leader of a local band, the "Macri's Music Makers." He graduated early in order to enlist in the U.S. Navy in 1942. Upon discharge, he attended Gonzaga University. Bob is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rachel; his daughters Barbara Macri-Glock (Jim), Kelli Honan, and Denese Macri-Martin (Mike); son Robert II; and six grandchildren; Sabrina Brady, Shyloh Macri, Makayla Martin, Shayden Macri, Tanner Macri, and Rico Martin. He outlived his beloved daughter, Toni Macri and siblings Salvatore Macri, Joe Macri, Betty Slocum, Rose Sciuchetti, and Mary Segarini. A family ceremony will be held at Heritage Chapel on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 1:00 pm with interment at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
