Roberta "Bobbie" J. Green Obituary (Age 86) Bobbie was born on February 3, 1923 in Yakima, WA to Ervin and Marion Russell. She graduated high school in Zillah, WA and attended St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Yakima, WA, graduating in 1944. She married Norman A. Green that same year and they celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 1994. Bobbie worked as a Registered Nurse in Spokane for many years. Bobbie and Norman loved cruising and enjoyed many winters in Yuma, AZ. After Norman's passing she continued to travel extensively with family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed casino excursions with longtime friend Betty Frost. Bobbie is survived by her son Alan Green and wife Dottie of Spokane, WA; daughter Carol Green of Edmonds, WA; son Jim Green and wife Sandy of Bellevue, WA; her sister Ethelwyn Couch of Palmer, AK; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman A. Green and brother David Russell. She will be missed by her family and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on December 14, 2009 at Heritage Funeral Home.
