Roberta Eileene Streich Obituary (Age 92) Entered into rest on August 21, 2017 in Spokane. She was born on March 27, 1925 to Frank and Lulu Martin in Navina, Oklahoma and was raised on the family farm in Cashion, Oklahoma. Roberta married her high school sweetheart, Ray Streich, a pilot in the Army Air Corp, on December 19, 1943 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who took care of her family as her husband was transferred from one Air Force base to another including three years in Nagoya, Japan in the mid 50s where one of her children was born. Upon their military retirement from Montana they decided to return to Spokane after serving time at Fairchild AFB where she later pursued a career at the Spokane County Court House working as a court clerk and bailiff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lulu Martin, husband, Ray Streich, sister, Maxine Howell, brother J.B. Martin, twin brother, Bob Martin and grandson, Brenton Andrew Martin Streich. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Streich-Brewer (John), sons, Dennis, Bob (Nan) and Martin Streich and grandchildren; Dan Brewer (Gail), Paul Brewer (Katie), Heidi Brewer-Newbrander (Will), Robert Streich (Toni), Joslin Mary Koren (JP); great-grandchildren; Sarah Brewer-Lenihan (Luke), Adam, Micah, Ryan and Matthew Brewer, Taylor Schmidt and Morgan Schmidt, Isabel Lilianne Koren, Natalie Ray Koren and Wyatt Cooper Streich; and great-great-grandchild; Remington-Rose Lenihan. The family wishes to express deep gratitude and appreciation to all of the team at the Rockwood Retirement Community for the loving care they provided for Roberta during her 10 years living there. A memorial service will be held for this special lady on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Rockwood Ridge at 2903 East 25th Avenue, Spokane, WA 99223.
