July 30, 1958 - August 01, 2023

Rob Obituary Robin Lee Turner, beloved husband, father of two and grandfather of three, passed away on August 1, 2023 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Rob, as he was known to all, was born in Clear Lake, Iowa on July 30, 1958 to William and Nancy (Poyner). After bouncing around from school to school as a child, he graduated from West High School in Waterloo, IA in 1976. While working in South Sioux City, NE, Rob made the mistake of picking up tennis balls for the young woman trying to learn to play tennis. Rebecca Arends became his wife of 45 years. The father of two boys, Ken and Danny, Rob was kept busy with fishing, camping, backyard baseball and basketball, and cheering on the Mariners and the Seahawks with his best friend, Tom. Rob was a truck driver at heart. Although he left that occupation for short stints to work in different fields like a correction officer at the Spokane Jail, he always returned to his semis. Preceeded in death by his parents and one brother Terry, Rob was survived by his wife, Rebecca, sons, Kenneth (Keshia), and Daniel (Shaylee), three grandchildren, June, Hailey and Nell, two brothers, Jeff and Kirk, and two sisters, Sharon and Barb.
