Rodney Robert peacefully left this world on Friday, November 5, 2010 to be surrounded by the Peace and Love of our Lord and
Savior. A beloved husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend, Rodney was born November 4, 1969 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Byron and Cheryl McDonald. Rodney attended Lidgerwood Elementary, Northwood Jr. High, and Mead Sr. High School. He loved going camping at Dragoon Creek, hanging out with family and friends at Fish Trap Lake, watching Gonzaga basketball and NASCAR. Rodney was a volunteer at his church and also enjoyed helping the homeless. Rodney is survived by his loving fiance Jennifer Chavez, his parents Byron and Alice McDonald of Ellensburg, Mother-in-Law Teresa (Nana), five children: Rodney Jr., Kiani and Kyle Hepburn, Ashley and Amber Chavez of Spokane. Four Brothers: Byron, Bruce, Gerald, and Bret. Three sisters: Laura, Isabelle, and Lisa. His Uncle Bruce and Aunt Judy, Tammy Stovall, Lori Hepburn, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved doggie Lil Buddy. He is preceded in death by his mother Cheryl McDonald, Grandmothers June and Jacobs, Grandfathers Paul and Branson. Viewing will be Friday, November 12, 2010 from 8:00-5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Memorial Celebration of Rodney's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 13th at Vintage Faith Church, 314 South Spruce, Spokane, WA.
