Ron Eugene Wunderlich Obituary (Age 60) Ron Eugene Wunderlich passed away September 29, 2017 in Spokane, WA. He was born October 30, 1956 in Spokane to Eugene and Mary Ruth Wunderlich. Ron grew up in the Garden Springs area. He attended Garden Springs Elementary, Windsor School, Cheney Junior High and Cheney High School. He received his GED. He worked as an auto mechanic with his father at Genes Garage until after his fathers death. Then at various other shops in Spokane. He also worked for the City of Spokane for approximately five years. He married Terri L. Bird in October of 1979 in Coeur d Alene, ID. They had one son, Joseph. Ron and Terri later divorced. He lived in the Spokane area his entire life. He always loved cars and working on them. Taking things apart and putting them back together was something he did from a very early age. He enjoyed camping and motorcycles. Ron is survived by his mother, M. Ruth (Donald) Waite of Wellton, AZ; son, Joseph Brian (Marisa) Wunderlich of Deer Park, WA; sister, Judy (Steve) Zimmerman of Dundee, OR; brother-in-law, Kenneth Potter of Spokane; three grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews, two grandnieces and three grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Clara Potter; and father, Eugene D. Wunderlich. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 6th at Marshall cemetery in Cheney, WA.
