Ronald E. Buckner Jr. Obituary Surrounded by family who adored him, Ronald E. Buckner Jr., lover of Diet Pepsi and Copenhagen, passed away on Monday, October 8th. Ron was born in Spokane, WA on August 10, 1965. He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1984. Ron was a decorated veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corps from 1984 to 1992. His work ethic and commitment helped him achieve great success. He rose to the rank of Sergeant, was a USMC Pathfinder, a Forward Observer, and a member of the elite 1st ANGLICO unit during the Gulf War. His colleagues described him as one of the best teammates a Marine leader could have. He was smart, very funny, dependable and dedicated. Ron was a loyal and loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was also an exceptional handyman who always had a project in the works. His perfectionistic tendencies and commitment to excellence were evident in everything he made, fixed or planned. Besides his family, Ron�s greatest treasure was his faith. He was a Christian, who loved food almost as much as he loved the Lord. Ron is survived by his wife of 25 years, Pam, his father, Ronald E. Buckner Sr (Helen), his 3 daughters, Erika (Korey) Sutton, Shelby Johnson, and Michaela Buckner, his two grandchildren, Abram and Eden Sutton, and his brother Curtis. Ron's memorial will be held at Timberview Church on November 2, 2018, at 11:00 AM. There will be a ceremony at the National Cemetery in Medical Lake at 1:30, where he will receive military honors. Following, there will be a potluck at the Eagles Lodge at 3:00 PM to celebrate his life.
