Rose Yasuko (Shiraishi) Takeshita Obituary (Age 91) Born in Caldwell, Idaho to Toraji Bob Shiraishi and Katsuko Yamasaki on September 12th, 1920. In 1944, she married the love of her life, Toshio Ted Takeshita. The Takeshita farm, in Payette, Idaho, was plentiful with sugar beets and onions. They were blessed by three sons: Marc Alan, Curtis Dean, and Roy Kent. The family moved to Spokane, Washington in 1964. Rose worked at Deaconess Medical Center as an EKG and EEG Technician; she retired in 1985. On September 1st, Rose joined our Father in Heaven. The surviving family is comforted by the thoughts of Rose reunited with her loved ones. People will always remember Rose as an extremely loving and thoughtful person, continuously giving of herself. She is survived by her eldest son Marc (Yumiko); daughter-in-law Patricia; grandchildren Darren and Miyeko, great-grandson Kendal; stepdaughter Kiyo Teruya and family; sister Grace Jio and family; sister Ilene Takahara and family. The family would like to thank the Valley Hospital and Medical Center, Sullivan Park Care Center and Orchard Crest Retirement Community for their outstanding services. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17th at Highland Park United Methodist Church at 1pm. Please come and reflect on the beautiful life of Rose Takeshita.
