Ross Vernon Pethers Obituary Ross Vernon Pethers 79, of Spokane passed away November 28, 2022. Ross was born on January 16, 1943, in Spokane. WA, to Vernon and Ellen Pearl Pethers. He graduated from Shadle Park High School on June 2, 1961. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Navy. Upon honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked for more than 20 years at Kaiser Aluminum, as a Pot lining Crane Operator at their Mead Plant. Ross married Marlena Holland on May 22, 1965. They had three children together. He enjoyed various hobbies; cars, camping, boating, grandchildren, and snow-birding in Arizona. His family and friends will always remember him as an active and helpful person. Ross is survived by his wife Marlena; daughter Julie; and sons Steven and Scott. Followed by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Viewing and Funeral Service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224. Viewing on Thursday January 5, 2023, 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m., Funeral Service on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.; Burial Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall St, Spokane WA 99208. The family would like to thank, Ridgeview Place Memory Care for their love and compassion Ross received while in their care for more than three years.
