Rossie L. Hicks

 

May 22nd, 1938 – April 15th, 2026

 

Rossie L. Hicks, 87, passed away peacefully on April 15th, 2026 while in the care of Pineridge Memory Care Facility. Her viewing will be on May 8th, 2026 from 2 p.m – 5 p.m at the Heritage Funeral Home located at 580 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224. Rossie L. Hicks memorial service will be held with family and friends at the Airway Baptist Church, located at 12322 W. Sunset Hwy, Airway Heights, WA 99001, on May 15th at 1 p.m. Hor d’oeuvres and drinks will be available following the service.

 

Rossie was born on May 22nd, 1938 to Brady E. Woods and Jessie M. Edmonds in Dobson, North Carolina. On January 2nd, 1954 she married her husband, Claude A. Hicks, and they were married for 67 years. Together, they are survived by their six children; Carolyn, Libbie, Robin, Claudette, Allen, and Richard, 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
