August 04, 1920 - August 08, 2009

Roy G. Dalton Obituary Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away August 8, 2009. Roy is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years Mona; children Dianne (Roy) Davidson, Vickie (Rick) Mason and Russell Dalton. Roy was proud of his five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was a graduate of North Central High School and spent his life as a farmer/rancher and land developer in Spokane County. As an active member of the community Roy served as a member of Paradise Prairie Grange; Spangle School Board; and served on the board of directors for Inland Farmers for 27 years. Roy and Mona attended Life Center Church and in his spare time he enjoyed bowling, boating, fishing, hunting, iron and woodworking and spending time with his family. Roy could always be found on his ranch or in his shop fixing, building or developing tools to be used around the ranch. Friends and neighbors could always depend on Roy for tools and advice. He has given his family and friends many fond memories. Please join us in celebrating this "cowboy's" life beginning with Graveside Services at 1:00PM Saturday August 15, 2009 at Spokane Memorial Gardens with a casual reception to follow at Rick and Vickie Mason's home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Vanessa Behan Nursery, Salvation Army or Union Gospel Mission in Roy's memory.
