Ruby Clara (Russell) Moore Obituary (Age 94) Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully on August 7, 2014. She was born to Howard and Verna (Roan) Russell on May 21, 1920, and lived nearly her entire life in Spokane. Her warm spirit and light heartedness will be greatly missed by all her loved ones. Ruby was one of eight children and is survived by her sister Joy Schmidt and brother Richard �Dick� Russell. Her children; Shirley A. Whitman, Dale L. Moore and stepdaughter Donna L. Scott also survive Ruby. She also had 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren many nieces, nephews and good friends. Ruby worked 36 years as the switchboard operator at the Bon Marche where she was the �voice� of the Spokane store from 1953 through 1989. Ruby enjoyed music, dancing, gardening, the arts and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 12 from 9-11:00 am at Heritage Funeral Home.
