Russell Ray "Russ" Best Obituary Age 67 Russ was born October 3, 1944 in Independence, Missouri to Henry and Anna Best. He passed away November 3, 2011. He was married to Kathy Best for 38 years, they have 2 children Michael Best and Melissa (Lisa) Young and son-in-law Shawn Young of Canada with 2 grandchildren Kaleb and Lucy. He is also survived by his brother Randy Best. He was preceded in death by his parents; a younger sister Sherry Campbell and his first grandchild Sadie Young. Russ loved all the outdoors activities, traveling and seeing new places. He was a Marine for four years and worked for 38 years for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 2005. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 7th at 3:00PM at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
