Sallie Louise (Smith) Moore Obituary Sallie Louise (Smith) Moore, 69, left the loving arms of her family on April 8, 2016 and went into the waiting arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ. Sallie was born to Robert (Bob) and Murle (Bradley) Smith on July 12, 1946 in Spokane, Washington where she lived until she married Loyal (Pete) Moore on February 4, 1967. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1964 and attended Spokane Community College majoring in Photography. For 20 years Sallie was a military wife, living in several states until her husband retired and they moved to Spokane in 1987. Sallie had several jobs including working as a freelancer photographer for Belleville Newspaper and Belleville Area College in Illinois where she won several awards for her photographs. After she moved back to Spokane she became a very successful realtor until retiring in 2002. Sallie traveled extensively throughout the United States visiting almost all 50 states. She loved taking cruises and went on eight cruises traveling to Central America and Europe, visiting such places as Russia, Turkey, Italy, Greece, France, Austria, Germany and many, many more. Sallie loved traveling, photography, music, genealogy, scrapbooking, sewing, her family, and the many summers spent at the family cabin and the long swims in the Pend Oreille River. She deeply loved playing games with her game playing buddies and looked forward to the Red Hat � Ruby Rascals� meetings each month. She lived every day as if it was the best day she had ever lived. She will be remembered for her quick smile, optimism, infectious laugh and the way she loved. She will be greatly missed by her husband and best friend, daughter Kari (Jon) Hiebert, grandchildren Sydney and Austin Hiebert, brother Doug (Barbara) Smith, cousin Ray (Barbara) Bradley, nephew David (Jolynn) Smith, niece Alisa (Jeff) Price, her always faithful and dearest �sis� Eileen (Joe & Beth) Martin and many other close family members and friends. Sallie�s family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at both Cancer Care Northwest and Hospice of Spokane for their gracious and compassionate care. A memorial will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 W Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224 on April 21, 2016 at 1:00pm.
