April 17, 1958 - September 16, 2015

Sarita Lynn Wright Obituary Loving Mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. On Wednesday September 16, she lost her courageous battle with Stage IV Breast Cancer. She passed away in the comfort of her own home in the company of her loving family. Sarita was born in Watertown, NY on April 17, 1958 to the late Richard A. Wright and Arlene C. LaFromboise. Her decorated 24 years of service in the USAF began in 1980. Beginning as a crew chief, Sarita worked her way up to Master Sergeant and retired as First Sergeant to the 92nd Civil Engineering Squadron. Her military career took her to Louisiana, Georgia, Washington, Arkansas, UK, Saudi Arabia, Diego Garcia and South Korea. Her 20's were spent cruising on a motorcycle, but Sarita spent her later years enjoying the outdoors, camping, painting, kayaking, and horseback riding. She loved the memories of her "crazy-ass" life and will be remembered as strong, independent, confident and adventurous. Her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her daughter Crystal. She is survived by her sister Tana, brother Brian, mother Arlene, daughter Crystal and son-in-law Ethan and their two children Mavik and Veda. She was loved by many. Farewell Sarita, Shirtita, Xena, Grandma Rita, Mom. A memorial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a procession to the VA Cemetery in Medical Lake where Committal Veteran Honors Ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM.
