Saul Rothstein Obituary (Age 86) Died peacefully on May 25, 2011 with family at his side. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he was very proud of his service in the Canadian Army as a World War II Veteran. He came to Spokane with his family, in 1957 to begin a new life in the U.S. He spent the next 30 years as a newspaper pressman at The Spokesman-Review. At the same time, he was a proud Shriner and dedicated countless hours to Shriners Hospital, along with being a 20 gallon donor to the blood bank. His true love was his wife Marion of 65 years and his family. He is survived by Marion, daughters Caryl Harper of Spokane, Lynn Fishman of San Diego, Tracy Lehrer of New York, and Shelley Bensussen of Seattle, along with sons-in-law Doug Lehrer and Larry Bensussen and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 27 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Donations may be made to Shriners Hospital or Temple Beth Shalom.
