Sharon A. Oki Obituary Sharon left us to be in the arms of the Lord on March 23, 2010. Sharon was born June 6, 1950 in Wilkinsburg, PA. and lived in Irwin, PA., until 1973. She attended North Irwin Elementary through Norwin High School. The family then moved to Spokane, WA. in 1973. Sharon was the store manager of a window covering company for over 20 years and recently acquired her certification in floral design to fulfill a dream of doing something she enjoyed. Her battle with cancer began in January 2008. She fought a courageous battle giving us a new meaning of courage, positive attitude, and strength. Sharon appreciated all the wonderful care she received and the new friendships along the way. She loved participating in ?Race for the Cure?, ?Pitch for the Cure?, and ?Relay for Life?, and any event that benefitted the fight against cancer. She is survived by her husband Roy Oki, at home; two sons David Stephens (Teri), Doug Stephens both of Spokane; three stepchildren Tina Le (Tuan), Christie Hagger, Cory Oki (Misty), all of Portland, OR; eleven grandchildren, Nathan, Nichole, Jacob, Melissa, Chris, Craig, Madison, Kyle, Camranh, Kailee, and Austin; parents Herb and Naomi Raling of Spokane; four sisters, Kathie Auckerman (Cal) of Spokane, Sandy Jenkins of Puyallup, Beverly Irvin (Rex) of Seattle, Ruth Lucas of Mead, sister-in-law Bonnie Raling of Colbert; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Candace Smith in 2004 and her brother Chip Raling in 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sharon Oki Cancer Fund, payable to Horizon Credit Union, 9861 N. Nevada 99218. Viewing Friday and Saturday from 8-5. Funeral service will be Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 3pm at Heritage Funeral Home
